Head to the Country Club Plaza this winter season to enjoy a luxurious night at The Scarlet Room, a newly opened underground lounge.
Even if the weather outside is frightful, the interior of The Scarlet Room is plush, warm and comfortable. Enter Parkway Social Kitchen and head downstairs to enter The Scarlet Room. Vibrant HD television screens line the room, displaying snowy scenes, moving patterns and kaleidoscopes of color. Red velvet booths line the back wall of the speakeasy, offering bottle service and a place for friends to intimately connect.
Step up to the bar to order a beer or custom cocktail. I enjoyed the Scarlet Fever—a cocktail made with serrano pepper infused vodka. It is sweet and flavorful with a powerful spicy bite. If spicy isn’t for you, The Scarlet Room offers other custom cocktails as well as beer from local breweries.
The Scarlet Room is a sister to club to The Fall, another night club in Kansas City’s underground district, located in Westport. I am excited to see what else the creators of The Scarlet Room and The Fall have in store for us. I love discovering new experiences in Kansas City.
The Scarlet Room is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, so join them this weekend!
