One day, the founder and craftsman, Wyette, found an old wooden paddle in the family lake house and decided to re-paint it. What started as a rainy day project turned into many hours sanding, prepping, and designing to create a paddle that hangs in their dining room to this day. He discovered the process was a rewarding, new-found passion, and from there the search was on to find more paddles to revamp. He created a few personalized paddles for friends and family, each with a unique story to include in their homes. After seeing the positive impact of his art projects, he decided he wanted to share that feeling with as many people as he could. Every family has a story to tell and we want our paddles to help you tell yours.
Thus, Palmer’s Paddles was born!
