It's so important to drink water (no duh, Steph) but I never seem to get enough. Having my water bottle inches away from me while I work is the only way I will remember to grab some water instead of some coffee. My water bottle stays at work so that I don't leave it at home or in the car on accident.

#3 EASY TO TAKE CARE OF PLANTS TO BRIGHTEN YOUR DESK

I have never been a plant mom before, so when my friends gifted me with bamboo and a succulent, I was nervous! A month down the road and they are still alive (unless they tricked me and the plants are fake...) and I love having them around. I tend to them infrequently but when I need to, it only takes a few seconds and gives me an excuse to get up and walk around!

#4 A FUN CHAIR TO SPIN AROUND IN

If you work at a desk job, you probably already realized you need a chair. Unless... you've been sitting on the ground all this time? Or one of those fun workout balls? Anywho...

I own TWO of these chairs! No joke - one at home and one at work. I love this style and design SO much. The pattern constantly gets compliments and it also hides a good amount of stains! The chair is small, lightweight and comfortable yet very supportive on my back. I can sit up or slouch down and feel comfortable. This chair is from Ikea and it is incredibly easy to put together. Flip it upside down and add on the wheels and you're all set!

#5 PHONE STAND + PEN HOLDER

If you're always losing your pens... this one is for you! This version of the stand is shaped like an elephant and has three holes on top. I love the wood tones - it blends in with any decor very nicely. This lil' guy is very sturdy and has never had any issue standing up while holding pens and my phone.

I'm notorious for letting my chapsticks roll of the desk (thus losing them) so when I am using my phone I place my chapstick in the front area!

#6 MATCHING MOUSEPAD + COASTER SET

Protect your desk from rabid mice and spilled liquids with a matching mousepad and coaster set! On Etsy you can find dozens, if not hundreds, of different patterns and color options to suite your style. These are nice and squishy and I can clean them off easily by running them under water.

#7 CARDIGAN

My office is a shared space where I cannot control what the temperature will be like day to day. I keep multiple cardigans in my office to keep me comfortable, warm and cozy no matter what I wore to work that day. I like to keep multiple color options around so that I can match my outfit in case I have a client meeting!
